MICROBLADING- In simplest terms, microblading is a form of permanent make up for your eyebrows. This procedure is done by using a hand tool and ultra fine needles. Pigment is etched into the skin to create individual hairlike strokes, which results in very realistic and natural looking eyebrows.
Microblading can dramatically enhance, correct or fully reconstruct eyebrows. It is perfect for those wanting to enhance their eyebrows, have little or no hair in the eyebrow area or have thinning eyebrows from age or over-tweezing.
Microblading usually takes two appointments to complete. During the first appointment, our client is "mapped" using their own brow bone to create a personalized set of brows. We mark and shape the brows by hand, then apply an anesthetic before beginning the procedure. There is an aftercare regiment to follow but you can go immediately back to your normal life!
The second appointment is a touch up at least 30 days after the first session. This allows enough time for the pigment in the skin to slough off, and the color to settle into your skin. In the touch up appointment, we can see how your skin received the pigment and make any necessary corrections. Depending on our client's skin undertones we may need to add color to adjust. Microblading will last for aproximately 12 months.
STIPPLING- This technique is usually in addition to microblading, but this method involves the application of hundreds of dots using a machine to gradually build up the depth of the eyebrow. Instead of filling in the full brow, this method gradually creates density to the brow, creating shading/definition that gives a more ombre brow, usually in the arch and adds softness to the beginning of the brow. This will add richness and softness to your brow and gives a soft natural look.
